Duty After School (2023)

The students and teachers at Sungjin High School are faced with a terrifying reality when an alien invasion strikes, bringing with it horrific insect-like creatures that attack humans. As the invasion spreads globally, the South Korean military is on the brink of being overwhelmed, prompting the President to announce mandatory conscription for all third-year high schoolers.

With only 50 days left until their university entrance exams, the third-years must put their studies on hold and commence military training in the school playground. Under the guidance of platoon leader Lee Chun Ho and class teacher Park Eun Young, the students must learn to shoot rifles, fight hand-to-hand, and navigate obstacle courses - all while wearing their school uniforms.

As the high schoolers embark on their military training, they must confront the harsh realities of war and the true meaning of duty. Will they be able to put aside their differences and work together to save the planet from doom? Duty After School is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name by Ha Il Kwon, and promises to deliver a thrilling and emotional ride.
