The Winning Try (2025)

The story of Ju Ga Ram, a former rugby player who was once the hope for Korean rugby, is one of redemption and second chances. After a drug scandal ruined his career, he returns as a contract coach for a high school rugby team, where he once played. With his charisma and leadership, he aims to turn the team around.

As Ju Ga Ram navigates his new role, he reunites with his ex-girlfriend, Bae I Ji, who is a shooting coach at the same high school. Their past and present collide, bringing up old feelings and unresolved issues. Meanwhile, the rugby team, led by Yun Seong Jun, faces its own set of challenges, including a lack of talent and experience.

Through the lens of sports and comedy, The Winning Try explores themes of perseverance, teamwork, and personal growth. As the characters work together to overcome their obstacles, they learn valuable lessons about themselves and each other, leading to a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
