A Host of Sparrows (2018)

The story of A Host of Sparrows begins with an ex-con, planning to retire to Florida with a fortune in stolen money. However, his plans are soon derailed when his former boss reaches out, coaxing him to a remote bed and breakfast. The reason for this sudden change in plans is to protect the daughter he has never met, a young woman who finds herself at the center of a deadly storm.

As a storm rolls in, the ex-con and six others are trapped at the B and B, forced to wait out the torrential weather together. But as the hours pass, past secrets and hidden connections begin to surface, revealing that these seven seeming strangers are not as disconnected as they initially seemed. A tragic murder from eleven years earlier is slowly uncovered, tying the group together in unexpected ways.

As the group's shared history is revealed, tensions rise and survival instincts take over.
