The Untamed (2019)
The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, dominating over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie, and Jin households. Wei Wuxian becomes fast friends with Lan Wangji, and during their adventures, they discover the head of the Wen clan is behind a series of plots to wreak havoc on the lands.
Wei Wuxian attempts to protect the innocent members of the Wen clan from unfair persecution, leading to disaster, and he goes missing. Sixteen years later, Wei Wuxian reappears and works with Lan Wangji to solve a series of murder mysteries, eventually finding and defeating the true culprit.
Based on Moxiang Tongxiu's novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, this story unfolds with themes of action, adventure, fantasy, and romance, set against the backdrop of a world where pugilists and cultivators navigate complex webs of power and loyalty.
