The Legend of Shen Li (2024)

In a world where many gods have perished, the ancient deity Xing Zhi has existed for tens of thousands of years, devoid of emotion and desire. After saving a devastating war between gods and demons, he vanished, seeking solitude. Centuries later, the formidable female demon lord Shen Li is born, unique with a pearl in her mouth.

As her thousandth birthday approaches, she faces an arranged political marriage. Determined to escape, Shen Li flees but is attacked, reverting to her phoenix form. Seriously wounded and comatose, she falls into the human world. A vendor mistakes her for a fat chicken, plucking her feathers and selling her.

Shen Li awakens to this humiliating predicament, utterly enraged and depressed. In her despair, a delicate man in black and white pauses, then declares, 'I want this chicken.' This seemingly simple transaction inadvertently intertwines their fates forever, setting the stage for a dramatic and intense journey.
