The Amityville Horror (1979)

George Lutz, along with his wife Kathy and their three children, believes they have discovered the perfect home in a picturesque Victorian mansion in Amityville, Long Island. The house, however, comes with an inexplicably low price tag, which raises eyebrows but does not deter the family from moving in. As they settle into their new lives, the Lutz family is initially enchanted by the house's charm and beauty, unaware of the dark history that lurks within its walls. The previous owners, the DeFeo family, were tragically murdered in the very same home, and the echoes of that violence begin to seep into the fabric of the Lutz's daily existence.
